Curlkit review, October 2017.

I received my first Curlkit box over 9 months ago! It's crazy to think I've been a member for so long and if you follow me on social media, you have seen my excitement to open my package as soon as I get home. Curlkit is a membership service where we pay a monthly fee of around $25 to receive products made for us curly heads. I'd recommend you give it a try if you haven't already. It's definitely worth it!

The first thing I noticed about this box was that every product was full-sized. I think I screamed with eagerness as I saw a bottle of: shampoo, conditioner, mousse, edge control, and miracle treatment spray. All of these products were from the Creme of Nature Line; two from the Coconut Milk line and three from the Argan Oil From Morocco line. I've heard about these products and Curlkit gave me the chance to give it a try!

This shampoo was seriously a life-saver. I dyed my hair blonde around this time and while my curls did not suffer (thank you natural goddesses), my hair was super dry. When I used this as I washed my hair, it no longer felt like a Brillo pad and I was eternally grateful.

This conditioner was coupled with the shampoo. This conditioner really felt moisturizing and it worked -- my detangling time was cut, which was unbelievable. Although this was just a conditioner, it worked like a deep treatment mask tbh.

Oh the joys of mousse. My early days of being natural included suffocating my hair til it was crunchy, but I used this sparingly. It worked well and smelled good -- oftentimes, only a small pump was needed for my liking.

My edges often look crazy, and I'm okay with that. Natural sistas, it's okay to not have your edges glued to your forehead. If you want something to keep your fly-aways in place -- this edge control is a must-buy.

This miracle spray is lit and has actually lasted me a long time. I don't straighten my hair often, but I use this product for moisture on my hair's frizziest days. This bottle is actually still almost full so it's lasted longer than the rest of this box!

Overall, I was very pleased with my very first Curlkit! I used the paired shampoo and conditioner til I couldn't nomo' -- it lasted me a good few months. The mousse is now at its last few pumps, but you only need a little so I'm gonna stretch it as long as I can. The edge control and miracle treatment, however, are still going strong.
