Hey girl hey! I received this Curlkit not too long ago, but I just received an email that my June Curlkit has been shipped. So ... let me post this review before it gets here. This one will be a bit more like an unboxing than a review, so I hope you enjoy!

No lie, May's box is competing for #1 along with October's and April's, but it's difficult to say since all of these boxes are so different. For example, this box didn't bring a paired shampoo and conditioner unlike October's and April's. However, I do have some left from April so I guess I'm not that bothered.
Here's what I received from Creme of Nature's Coconut Milk Line:
The first product I project to be a personal favorite since I constantly need leave-in conditioners for my very dry hair. Some of its benefits are: locking in moisture, detangling, and protection from breakage -- all tell-tale signs that this is truly a curly head product! In addition, it's free from sulfates, petrolatum, and mineral oil. Oftentimes, products made for #naturals aren't so natural and are packed with chemicals that are not only harmful, but may also be carcinogens. That's why it's extremely important to do our research and always remain aware of what we are putting on and in our bodies!

The second product isn't one I use as much after every wash, but is definitely helpful for two to three day curls. This hair milk's function is to help elongate curls because we all know about the #shrinkage problem. In addition, it works with the leave-in against breakage and helps detangle -- an ultimate struggle for those of us born with coils growing out of our scalps. I think this type of product is more useful for those of you who have #4cType hair, but I'll definitely try it out a bit to see how it would also work for me.

The third product is a control glue so we can keep our edges laid and to prevent from anyone #SnatchingOurEdges. I'm not the type to lay my edges daily as I like the more natural look and it's not that difficult for my fly-aways to stay down tbh (type 3 hair with silky baby hair most of the type). Although I might not have this personal struggle most of the time that's all it is -- most of the time. So, this is for the days where #IWokeUpLikeDis looking cray-cray and those days where I just really need to put my hair back away from this #FlawlessFace. This is actually the only product I've used so far from this kit and I can already tell I'm gonna be stingy with it. It creates the perfect look with just as much hold in order to prevent you looking like #ByeFelicia and just a little more like #Bey. I got you with the receipts if you're unfamiliar with pop culture.
The fourth product is another oil (cue eye roll). So now, I've got 3 oils sitting on my dresser with not so much for me to use it for. If you've got some suggestions, please hit the contact button ASAP because I need them. This also doesn't contain sulfates, petrolatums, mineral oil, or silicone. This is a pretty big bottle that actually might last me a lifetime given my lack of use of oils, but it may be especially beneficial for those of you who have it in your daily routine. I'm braiding my hair tomorrow though, so I might share an update since I project to make good use of this product during this time.

Last, but not least is my mousse! This is a must-have for me since it helps me tame my hair under any circumstance. This also does not contain mineral oil, petrolatum, or sulfates -- a real plus for us. For those of you unfamiliar with mousse, it helps control frizz, adds moisture and shine, and even aids in styling your hair after a wash and go, twist-out, or rod sets. Some may also use this product to during braiding and to rock those #BantuKnots.

Thanks for reading May's Curlkit review and I hope you all learned something from this unboxing! I really can't wait for June's, but I may not be able to unbox until my return from Vegas since it's projected to arrive on Saturday. I'll keep you all updated as always.
