Curlkit review, April 2018

After a bit of disappointment in my November and December Curlkit boxes, I decided to take a little break from this membership service. Besides, my products were overflowing from my room and needed some time to actually use them. I purchased another 3 month membership in April and it totaled to $60 (free shipping this time).

Whatever disappointment I felt in the past was long gone when I received my April Curlkit! I was extremely eager since I'm an April baby and this was one of my gifts to myself. Not only was this box full of Shea Moisture, but it was 5 full-sized products. I believe I was twerking alone in my room as I saw what I received. Truly one of my favorite boxes along with the one I received last October.

The shampoo and conditioner are a god-send! I've been using the pair for two months now. They feel very light-weight and feel a bit more like a co-wash, which I don't have much experience using in my daily hair routine. As I use it, it just feels healthy.

Along with this pair, I've also been using the Curl Stretch Pudding and Styling Ghee as a pair to style my hair after a good wash. I've used the pudding and ghee for both twist-outs and wash and gos -- I've been extremely pleased with the results.

The last product is a reshaping shine butter that I haven't used much. The texture is a bit interesting because it feels like fine crystals, but I've used it to brush my hair down and it smooths out like an oil. We'll see if I find a way to incorporate the butter into my daily routine, after all I just received this kit in April.
