Don't Look at Me features Kaolin, which is a cleaning absorbent. Kaolin is a clay material that is derived from a Chinese village and is super great for your skin. It is ideal for oily skin since it absorbs excess oil and water. Another product that uses Kaolin is Mario Badescu's Whitening Mask, which may be well-known to most of you. Overall, this was my favorite sample. It was super smooth and easy to apply. In addition, it left my face feeling nice and clean. This product is one that I would buy given the easy application, cleansing feeling, and vegan categorization.

Oatifix features fine oatmeal, which is incredibly soothing and calming for the skin. This product is great for those of you who commonly have irritated and dry skin. While this mask felt and smelled great, it probably isn't the best for my oily skin. It was also a bit difficult to apply and wasn't as smooth as I would prefer. If I were to buy this product, I would more so for the times where my face is sunburnt and needs revitalization.

BB Seaweed features seaweed, which is something I usually eat rather than use as part of my facial routine. Surprisingly, seaweed is great for sensitive skin since it is packed with nutrients. In addition, this face mask contains almonds and aloe vera both of which are great for hydration and exfoliation. While it seems great on paper, this sample was actually my least favorite. It was the toughest mask to apply since it felt super dry and would probably be better used as an exfoliator rather than a mask. This product is not something I would spend my money on.

Brazened Honey features a blend of herbs and spices such as ginger, fennel, cardamom and turmeric. The ingredients used are part of traditional Ayurvedic medicine and give skin a healthy glow by stimulating cell growth. Like the first sample in this post, this mask contains a kaolin clay base. If you're looking for something that brightens hyper-pigmentation, thoroughly exfoliates, and moisturizes this is the product for you! The honey in this mask prevents it from being vegan, but it is something I would definitely use again.
